This plastic model kit is a Airfix made kit in 1 in 72 scale. It has currently been discontinued so this kit which is still sealed has become a rare item. There are no glue or paints that included. It is in the series 7 range. The Stirling had a very short carrear as a out and out bomber being that is was the first four engined bomber to go into service during the second world war. As its defensive capabilities were very much lacking. So it was used later as a transport, Mine layer and glider tow Its an ideal model to either keep as is for future investment as an unopened sealed kit or would be nice when incorperated with lot number 344 to make a diarama.
